1. Acceptance
These Terms of Use govern your use of Provoke Deck, its licensing service, and Provoke Deck-related Client Portal functions provided by ProvokeAI. By installing, activating, using Provoke Deck, or using the Client Portal for a Provoke Deck license, you agree to these Terms and the Provoke Deck Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the software or related portal functions.
2. Software license
Subject to these Terms and any applicable subscription or purchase terms, ProvokeAI grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Provoke Deck for your personal or internal business use on the number of devices allowed by your plan.
You may not resell, sublicense, distribute modified copies, circumvent licensing controls, remove proprietary notices, or use the software in a way that violates applicable law or these Terms.
4. Client Portal, account security, and license management
Licensed customers may claim a Client Portal account by verifying information associated with their license. You are responsible for protecting your activation key, password, authenticator access, recovery codes, and account sessions. Do not share credentials, claim a license that does not belong to you, or attempt to bypass multi-factor authentication or other security controls.
Multi-factor authentication is required for portal access. Sensitive actions may require recent second-factor verification. Portal actions such as revealing a key or deactivating a device are applied to the licensing records associated with your customer account. A deactivated device may need to be activated again before licensed functionality resumes.
Authenticated feature requests are available only while the account has a qualifying active entitlement. Portal support requests may be associated with the relevant customer and subscription record and marked as licensed-customer priority.
5. Third-party websites and services
Provoke Deck interacts with supported third-party websites at the user's direction. ProvokeAI does not own or control those websites and is not responsible for their availability, content, policies, security, or changes. Provoke Deck is not endorsed by or affiliated with third-party sites merely because the extension supports a workflow on them.
Third-party website changes can temporarily break extension features. We may update or discontinue support for a site or feature when compatibility, legal, policy, or security considerations require it.
6. Licensing, billing, and device limits
Paid or licensed versions may require an activation key and periodic online validation. Your plan may limit the number of simultaneously active devices. Attempting to evade device limits, forge entitlement tokens, or interfere with license validation is prohibited.
When billing-management features are enabled, payment processing and payment-method changes may be handled through a third-party payment provider's hosted checkout or customer portal. Additional purchase, renewal, cancellation, refund, or subscription terms presented at purchase may apply. Do not submit full payment-card numbers or card security codes through ProvokeAI support forms.
7. Updates, beta features, and availability
Pre-release or beta versions may contain defects, change without notice, or lose compatibility with third-party websites. We may add, change, suspend, secure, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary. We may also require updates or reauthentication for security, compatibility, policy, or licensing reasons.
8. Support
Public support is available through the ProvokeAI support page. Licensed customers may use the authenticated Client Portal for account-linked support. Response times are not guaranteed unless a separate written service agreement says otherwise.
9. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Provoke Deck and related Client Portal functions are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every website version, or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ProvokeAI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, profits, or access arising from use of or inability to use Provoke Deck or related portal functions. Any liability that cannot legally be excluded remains subject to applicable law.
11. Suspension or termination
We may suspend or terminate a license, portal account, or session when reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, security threats, suspected account compromise, repeated violations of these Terms, chargebacks, or unlawful use. You may stop using Provoke Deck at any time by uninstalling it and, where applicable, cancelling your subscription.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms as Provoke Deck, the Client Portal, or applicable requirements change. Material revisions will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
13. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be submitted through the ProvokeAI support page. Licensed customers may also use the authenticated Client Portal.
